    • Vineyards trail of Eguisheim

The vineyards trail offers the discovery of the wine and the vineyards of Eguisheim in an original way.


    • Discovery trail - Sur les traces de l’écureuil -

Time and distance : 2:30 to 3:00 hours for 6400 meters.
This path links the car park of the Three Castles with the car park of the Hohlandsbourg Castle. The path is easy and pleasant. The main way is indicated by marks having the form of the squirrel foot. The trace of this little animal would be your guide along this woodland route.
From place to place, panels introduce you to a tree or an animal of the area.

    • Discovery trail "Sentier des carrières"

Time and distance : 2:00 to 2:30 hours for 4400 meters.
This path links the car park of the Three Castles to the Marbach Abbey. It is easy and pleasant with 200 meters slope. The way is indicated by marks of a capital.

    • Eguisheim - The three Castles - Husseren-les-Châteaux

Departure : Town Hall car park
Time : 2h30
Traim marks : blue then red diamond - yellow dise - red diamond.

Description : In Eguisheim, walk up "Grand Rue". At the school "La Vigne en fleurs" go on in the same direction. At the second intersection (roadside cross), take the country road leading to Bechtal (blue diamond). The walk follows the brook through the vineyards, meadows and forests. In the locality of Bechtal take the path (red diamond) to the Three Castles. From the Castles, go to the car park and go down to Husseren (yellow)
After the hotel, take the path (red diamond) towards Husseren. Cross the village and its north-east exit, go down to Eguisheim by the road suitable for motor vehicles in the vineyards, perpendicular to the Wine Route.


    • Sentiers du Vignoble (towards Obermorschwihr and Husseren)

Departure : At the sign "Départ du sentier" at the entrance to the Eguisheim camp site
Time : 2 hours (about 8 km)
Trail marks : yellow circle, circular walk

Place de la République Go towards the arrow and go 400m up the small road. Cross the D14 and follow the trail marks opposite. The path starts in common with the "Sentier Viticole". Go on to the right. At the crossroads on the right you will see a sandstone altar repose. Leave the vineyard path and go straight ahead to the south. At the next crossroads go straight ahead, at the next crossroads turn right, at the next four crossroads go straught ahead, and at the next crossroads turn right to the west and stay on this road.
At the next crossroads, turn right. A part of the road is in common with the green circuit to Obermorschwihr. Turn right at the next crossroads (to the north). In the bend, turn left, at the altar repose go straight ahead. At the next crossroads turn right.

At theses crossroads, an option is offered for you to go towards Obermorschwihr by the green circular walk on the left. Additional time = 1h30 (6km)

At the next crossroads turn right once, then twice left and then right once again. Keep going straight ahead, at the end turn left and a little further up turn right. Stay in this path until you see the sign "sentiers circulaires" at the entrance of Husseren-les-Châteaux. Cross the D14 and follow the route, which is in common with the red circuit of Husseren. Go straight ahead at the next crossroads on the terrace road (about 500m), at the crossroads on the yellow circuit turn right.

At the crossroads, an option is offered for you to go to Husseren by the circular red walk on the left. Additional time = 1h30 (6km).

In the second bend, take the vineyard route to the right (part in common with the "Sentier Viticole"). at the next crossroads, go down to the left, then turn right, go down straight ahead and go left towards the camp site, the initial meeting point.


    • Sentiers du Vignoble (towards Herrlisheim)

Departure : at the sign "départ du Sentier" at the entrance of the camp site or the Tourist Office.
Time : 2 hours (about 8km)
Trail marks : blue circle

Description of departure from the camp site :
Follow the arrows, then turn left to the stork reserve. Keep going straight ahead with the church tower in sight.
From "rue du réservoir", turn right into "rue des Trois-Châteaux". At the restaurant La Grangelière, turn left, go past the church. At the fountain in Place du Marché, turn right into "Grand Rue". Go past the Tourist Office.

Description of departure from the Tourist Office :
With the Auberge du Rempart in sight, go along a few meters and take the second street right "rue du Muscat" for 100m. At the transformer, turn left, stay on this road towards the south until you get to the concrete road. At these crossroads, turn left until you get to the D1 bis, then turn right and go along the D1 bis for 500m. Go past the wayside crosses, cross the little trasnformer. Go straight ahead on this road and at the end turn left. Then, take the little road on the right up to the high point. At the crossroads turn right, the blue circuit goes towards the west.

Herrlisheim At these crossroads an option is offered for you to go to Herrlisheim by the blue circular walk. Additional time = 2 hours (8km)

Go straight ahead, pass along to the right of the water tank. At the next crossroads turn right towards the north. Go straight ahead for the next ten crossroads. Go towards the Eguisheim church tower. Arrival on the D14 near the Virgin grotto. Turn right and go on until you get to the "Marronniers" car park.

To the camp site : go along "rue des Trois-Châteaux", before the restaurant "Au Vieux Porche", turn left into the "rue du Vignoble", then "rue du réservoir". Keep going on this road, pass along the stork reserve. Then the camp site is on the road to the right.

To the Tourist Office : pass to the right of the restaurant "La Grangelière", go past the church. At the fountain in "Place du Marché", turn right into "Grand Rue " and keep going straight ahead up the Tourist Office.
